“As a real estate agent, you spend the majority of your time in front of the camera anyway.”
It may seem like a bridge too far, but photogenic Brisbane real estate agent Jason Branco says it’s a natural evolution.
He’s set to quit real estate to pursue a modeling career.
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do”, says the 29 year old. “As a real estate agent you spend the majority of your time in front of the camera anyway. It’s where I feel most at home.”
Branco presents several property videos a week and his headshot is featured on many large billboards and ‘For Sale’ signs around Brisbane’s east. He also makes regular TV appearances commenting on the property market.
“To be honest, I think I got into real estate with a view to becoming a model. Real estate agents are hired for their good looks anyway. I never really did much actual real estate work, so it won’t be a massive change.”
Branco is yet to be signed up by any modelling agencies, but he’s feeling confident.
“I’ve got some quality real estate head shots I can include in my portfolio, and I’ve hired a photographer for a photo shoot next week to get some fresh shots of me in casual wear.”
Branco says those photos will be also available on his Facebook and Instagram accounts within the next few weeks.
