Woman Changes Job Title To ‘Interior Designer’ After Buying Cushions For Her Home

Interior Designer

A Sydney woman is taking the next brave step in her career.

Sophie Cardwell has changed her LinkedIn job description to ‘Interior Designer’ after purchasing two new cushions for her sofa.

“I loved the process so much,” says the young mother. “I learnt a lot about design and colours, and to be frank, I learnt a lot about myself.”

The former administration assistant who’s never done interior design work before says she’s relieved that she’s found her calling.

“I’m going to be channelling an urban retro look. The first step is to post my new cushions to my new Instagram account and see what happens.”

The 32 year old told Strataville she plans to offer initial consultations to her friends for $200.

In the meantime, she’s urging any Strataville readers to follow her on Instagram @sophiedesignsydney
